Liz C: met 8/26 in JC among partners interested inLiDARacquisition. Liz created a map of regions of interest; very little overlap except for Springfield. Will next develop data specifications and pursue a Federal IDIQ contract. Holding a second regionalLiDARworkshop on 10/29 at Washington University in St. Louis. Still working on the agenda to ensure various speakers do not overlap material. Looking for someone knowledgeable in sinkhole mapping and vegetation assessment. Sign-up will be available soon.

FinanceLiz Cook

Have aproposed budget for FY09. Purpose of budget is to create spending categories within which money could be spent more fluidly. Discussion. Assumption is that GIO/CIO will continue to pay NSGIC membership ($3,000 annually). Each spending action would still have to be approved by the committee. Vote on budget deferred due to lack of quorum.
