- Louis Metro region formed 2 county consortium to purchase imagery to reduce costs; imagery will be at a 6 inch resolution
- NG911 – FirstNET Status – Missouri has until December 28, 2017 to OPT-IN or OPT-OUT of accepting the deployment plan released by FirstNet and AT&T—FirstNet’s nationwide contractor that was selected on June 19, 2017
6.2 Education — Shannon White
- Discussed the Geography Bee and the need to find a venue in mid-Missouri
- Bob Coulter will be leading the School Competition for GIS, due in the Spring and focused on the community
- Geographic Alliance will not be supported by National Geographic any longer
- Shannon will no longer be the Education Committee Chair
