No MSDIS Activity Report: Tim Haithcoat was out of town.
Standards – Metadata Standard
Leslie Beardon is working on the templates: minimum and mandatory. Jo Ann Shaw is currently editing the templates. She solicited input regarding this effort. Adding examples to template to make it easier. Current plan is to provide draft templates with examples to Committee before the next meeting with approval of standard coming at that meeting.

MAGIC 2000: The conference is upon us.
State Mapping Advisory Council (SMAC): Darryl Williams will find a dates for the meeting at the USGS in either June or July.
