MSDIS Data Wish List

While MSDIS is always happy to distribute any new data, based on requests from our users, GRC map requests, and the overall state of the data catalog, acquisition of new or updated versions ofthe following datasets are of particular interest:

Missouri School Districts(latest Missouri version: 2013, latest TIGER/Line version: 2018)

Missouri Voting Districts(latest version: 2010)

Missouri Contour Lines(no previous version)

Missouri Higher Education Facilities(previous Missouri version: 2010)

Missouri Library Districts(previous version: 2013)

Missouri Enhanced Enterprise Zones(previous version: 2012)

Missouri Fire Protection Districts (no previous version)

I have received the 2019 Q4 updates from MoDOT. These data have been pushed to the map data server and are now available as map services in the Transportation directory. They are also available as a single download from the MSDIS Data Library. I plan to add them to the MSDIS Open Data Page later today. Please note that, since we attach a date to each of our data and services in order to ensure users can identify the currentness of a file, some of our 2019 map data services will start to get replaced by their 2020 versions. As with last year, we will try to announce when a 2020 version of a service becomes available and we will keep the older 2019 version online for a few days to give everyone some time to redirect any map documents they may have that utilize such services. Currently, the only 2020 services that we are hosting are Ambulatory Surgical Centers and Dialysis Centers.

4.3 Treasurer’s Report – No Expenses. Under budget so far. 2-year review of budget has begun.

Questions regarding not posting agenda came up. We do post time and place of meeting which should cover us even though we don’t post agenda.
