State GIO ReportTim Haithcoat
Have 65 providers to broadband mapping effort. This is a good number compared to other states, but there are around 200 providers possible. Had an architecture and design meeting with ESRI last month. Should be an agenda item in a future meeting. GIO plan still in CIO’s hands. Tomorrow is the last day of session;SB621got a read, but never made it to committee. Looking at using existing architectureRFPsforLiDAR. Money for point-based addressing cannot be grant awarded, which is presenting difficulties.
