• Listserve cleanup is going on with Mo GIS

• Preparation going well.
• Workshops are coming together.

7.1 MAGIC Consortium — Steve Marsh
Beginning planning efforts for the next conference

7.2 National States Geographic Information Council — Tony Spicci
• Annual Conference just finished
• The National States Geographic Information Council (NSGIC) conducted its annual election here last week. Bert Granberg, director of the Utah Automated Geographic Reference Center, was named as NSGIC’s board president and Andy Rowan, deputy chief technology officer of the New Jersey Office of Information Technology, was elected to the position of president-elect.
• Additionally, the NSGIC membership re-elected Cheryl Benjamin, manager of the New York State Street and Address Maintenance Program in the Office of Information Technology Services, as a board director. Tony Spicci, longtime conference committee chair, former NSGIC president and GIS supervisor for Missouri, and Nathan Watermeier, state GIS coordinator for the Nebraska Information Technology Commission GIS Council, previously serving as secretary of the board, were both elected to board director positions.
• Geospatial data act is gaining steam
• Addresses and NextGen 911 were the major topics

9. Round table Discussion
• Marsh – Lee Summit testing several mobile platforms with City Works. Communications bond was passed to assist with the networking of the mobile system
• Spicci – CWD testing is main focus. Firearms season starts Saturday. Created an Android app to collect information. Continuing to evaluate UAS systems and developing policy language.
• Hesser – Census is collecting address records for local address review in 2018. Local gov’s wanting to participate will need to do so by April 2017. Community tiger has been dropped. Submissions via excel or text files. Call Matt for formatting issues.
• Howell – Please encourage others to present at MoGIS
• Hopkins – St. Charles having a GIS Day event
• Carter – Joe has had a discussion with Tracy about a State GIS Services Contract. Road to tomorrow is gaining steam. Talk of high speed rail. Grant money for alternate fuel corridors through Fast Act.
• Johnson – Cole County having GIS Day events at County and Jeff City
